Our meaning of balanced whole food diet does not mean paleo, vegetarian, herbivore, Atkins, McDougall, South Beach or whatever. It means that you are thinking before you buy and certainly before you eat, about the wholesomeness of that food. Where was it grown and by whom. How was it grown, harvested, stored and shipped. Is it organic or not? Is the label trustworthy or just about marketing. Is it GMO or not? Were the animals raised and sacrificed humanely or not? These are a few things that you should know about what you are choosing to eat and there’s more. If Americans cared more about these points, Americans would be so much more healthy than they are. We at Seaside Wellness Center are here to help you learn what you need to know about your food.
